Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy in the air fryer.
- Season the Fillets:
- In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the olive oil over the salmon fillets, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly on all sides of each fillet.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Air Fry the Salmon:
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for even cooking.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has a crispy exterior. Cooking times may vary based on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer model.
- Serve:
- Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side if desired.
