Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Salmon:
    • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy in the air fryer.
  • Season the Fillets:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
    • Rub the olive oil over the salmon fillets, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly on all sides of each fillet.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Salmon:
    • Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for even cooking.
    • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has a crispy exterior. Cooking times may vary based on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer model.
  • Serve:
    • Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side if desired.
