  • 1 lb chicken tenders (about 1012 tenders)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the Breading Stations:
    • Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat the Chicken:
    • Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off the excess.
    • Dip the floured tender into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
    • Coat the tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating.
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet:
    • Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tenders are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Flip the tenders halfway through the baking time for even crispness.
  • Serve:
    • Allow the chicken tenders to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces!
