- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Prepare the Breading Stations:
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the Chicken:
- Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the floured tender into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Coat the tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet:
- Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tenders are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Flip the tenders halfway through the baking time for even crispness.
- Serve:
- Allow the chicken tenders to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces!
