- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef:
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and water. Set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Beef:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Onions:
