- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)

- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
I. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
II. Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and frozen mixed vegetables. Mix well and pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
III. Prepare the Dumplings:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add the milk, melted butter, and sour cream, and stir until just combined.
IV. Assemble the Casserole:
- Spoon the dumpling batter over the chicken mixture in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
V. Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and cooked through and the casserole is bubbly.
