Ingredients

    • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon pickle juice (from the pickle jar)
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Garnish (Optional):
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
    • 1/4 cup crispy fried onions or crumbled bacon

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Finely chop the dill pickles and set aside.
    • In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and pickle juice. Mix until smooth.
  • Mix the Dip:
    • Add the chopped pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill weed, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Chill:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Garnish and Serve:
    • Before serving, garnish with chopped fresh dill and crispy fried onions or crumbled bacon, if desired.
    • Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.
