Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Finely chop the dill pickles and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and pickle juice. Mix until smooth.
- Mix the Dip:
- Add the chopped pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill weed, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Chill:
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Before serving, garnish with chopped fresh dill and crispy fried onions or crumbled bacon, if desired.
- Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.
