Ingredients

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Beat in the peanut butter until well combined.
    • Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Add Oats and Mix-ins:
    • Stir in the rolled oats, chocolate chips, and M&M’s until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Scoop and Bake:
    • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop heaping spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set but still soft.
  • Cool and Enjoy:
    • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
