Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks) – For that rich, fudgy texture.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar – Sweetens the brownies to perfection.
  • 4 large eggs – Helps bind everything together and adds moisture.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – For that classic vanilla flavor.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour – The base for our brownies.
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder – Provides a deep chocolate flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt – Balances the sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder – Helps the brownies rise slightly.

For the Oreo Layer:

  • 1 package (15.35 oz) Halloween-themed Oreos – You can use regular Oreos if you can’t find the themed ones. The seasonal colors are just too fun!

For the Toppings:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips – For melting and drizzling.
  • Assorted Halloween sprinkles – Use your favorite spooky-themed sprinkles to decorate.
  • Candy eyeballs or other decorations (optional) – To make your brownies extra festive!

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

2. Melt the Butter

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before adding the sugar.

3. Mix in the Sugar and Eggs

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Stir until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

4. Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, or your brownies could become tough!

5. Fold in the Oreos

  • Gently fold in about half of the crushed Halloween Oreos, reserving the rest for the topping. You want to distribute the Oreos evenly throughout the brownie batter.

6. Pour into the Pan

  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

7. Add More Oreos

  • Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top of the brownie batter. This gives extra crunch and makes for a beautiful presentation once baked.

8. Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake—nobody wants dry brownies!

9. Cool and Prepare the Toppings

  • Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for at least 15-20 minutes. This cooling time makes them easier to cut.

10. Melt the White Chocolate

  • While the brownies are cooling, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

11. Drizzle and Decorate

  • Once the brownies are cool, use a spoon or a piping bag to drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top. Get creative with your design!
  • Finish off your spooky brownies by adding Halloween sprinkles and candy eyeballs. This is where the fun begins—let your imagination run wild!

12. Cut and Serve

  • Cut the brownies into squares and serve them on a festive platter. Watch as your guests’ eyes light up at the sight of these delightful treats!
