Ingredients

  • 3 cups Chex cereal (any variety or a mix)
  • 1 cup pretzel twists
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (your choice)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the Chex cereal, pretzels, candy corn, and mixed nuts. Toss to mix evenly.
  • Prepare Caramel Sauce: In a small saucepan over low heat, gently warm the caramel sauce until it’s pourable. Remove from heat and stir in the pumpkin spice.
  • Coat the Mixture: Drizzle the warm caramel sauce over the Chex mixture, stirring gently to coat everything evenly.
  • Bake: Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even coating.
  • Cool: Remove the snack mix from the oven and let it cool completely. This will allow it to crisp up.
  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Drizzle Chocolate: Once the mix is cool, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top. Allow it to set.
  • Add Sea Salt: Sprinkle with sea salt for an extra flavor boost.
  • Serve: Once the chocolate has hardened, break the mix into pieces and serve in a decorative bowl.
