Ingredients

  • 1 medium watermelon
  • 1 cup strawberries, halved
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup orange slices
  • Mini chocolate chips (for decoration)
  • Honey or yogurt (optional for dipping)

Instructions

I. Prepare the Watermelon:

  1. Cut the watermelon in half and scoop out the flesh, leaving a sturdy shell.
  2. Cut the watermelon flesh into small cubes and set aside.

II. Create Fun Shapes:

  1. Using cookie cutters, cut the watermelon pieces into fun Halloween shapes (e.g., bats, ghosts, or pumpkins).
  2. Arrange these shapes back into the watermelon shell for a vibrant fruit display.

III. Assemble Fruit Monsters:

  1. Use the strawberries as “mouths” and blueberries as “eyes” for the watermelon shapes.
  2. Attach mini chocolate chips to the blueberries for added fun!

IV. Make Banana Ghosts:

  1. Take the banana slices and place mini chocolate chips on them to create ghost faces.
  2. Arrange the banana ghosts alongside the fruit display.

V. Serve:

  1. Add orange slices and remaining fruit around the watermelon shell.
  2. Serve with honey or yogurt for dipping, if desired.
