- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
For Toppings:
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt
- Shredded cheese
- Black olives (sliced)
- Tortilla chips or ghost-shaped crackers
- Chopped green onions

Instructions
I. Sauté the Base
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
II. Cook the Meat
- Add the ground beef (or turkey) to the pot. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
III. Add the Ingredients
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and broth. Stir well to combine.
IV. Simmer
- Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
V. Serve
- Ladle the chili into bowls and add your favorite spooky toppings. Get creative with the presentation!
