For the Fish:

For the Slaw:

- 1 cup shredded carrots

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- Salt to taste
For Serving:
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- Lime wedges (for garnish)
- Chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Fish:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture over the white fish fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the fish for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the fish to a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Make the Slaw:
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, lime juice, hot sauce (if using), and salt. Stir until smooth.
- Warm the Tortillas:
- Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side, or wrap them in foil and warm them in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Assemble the Tacos:
- Flake the cooked fish into bite-sized pieces.
- Place a few pieces of fish in each tortilla.
- Top with a generous amount of slaw and a drizzle of the sour cream sauce.
- Garnish with additional cilantro and lime wedges if desired.
- Serve:
- Serve the tacos immediately, with extra lime wedges and hot sauce on the side if desired. Enjoy!
